Ask a Librarian
IUP Libraries VIP Academic Success Rewards Program

IUP students are very important people! At IUP Libraries, we want to do everything we can to help you do well in your classes this semester.  Studies suggest that students who spend time visiting the library and using library resources are more likely to succeed academically, and academic success is the reward that students are most interested in obtaining. To help you get started on the right foot, IUP Libraries is offering the Library VIP Academic Success Rewards Program between January and National Library Week (April 13-18th).

To play the game, attend (or participate in) library (and library-related) workshops, contests, and events between January and April 18th and pick up a sticker for attending.  Fill in your Library VIP Cards with your stickers. Library VIP Cards are available at participating events and at the Library Administrative Office (203 Stapleton Library) or by sending an email to:  mcdevitt@iup.edu.

Completed boards should be turned into the Library Administrative Office, by April 18th.  The first 50 students who complete the board with ten stickers will get Library Student Search for Success t-shirts. Other participants with fewer numbers of stickers will still qualify to win other rewards. See the VIP web page (http://libraryguides.lib.iup.edu/vip) for a list of participating events and partners and for more information.
