Off-Campus Access
To use library databases from off-campus, log in as an IUP user.
After selecting your database, click on Indiana University, then enter your IUP network username and password.
- Instructions for Accessing the VPNA Virtual Private Network provides users with secure access to the University's network and allows IUP users the ability to access University resources while not on IUP campuses. Follow the instructions in this link to set up the VPN on your home computer. You'll need this to access certain Library databases from home.
Request Materials Not Owned by IUP
If IUP does not own a book or article that you need, use the Library's Inter-Library Loan service to get the material fast and for free! Visit the ILL website to place your request or click through the tabs to learn more.

Illiad allows you to request articles not available in the library databases. Articles are delivered electronically and usually take between 24-48 hours to arrive in your Illiad account.

Use PALCI to get books when you can't find what you're looking for at IUP. Use the link below to access the PALCI search screen. It usually takes 2-3 days for books to arrive at IUP from other libraries.
