“IUP in the 1960s: A Decade of Change” features research done by Introduction to Public History course students from the Spring 2017 semester with Dr. Jeanine Mazak-Kahne. They conducted extensive research in IUP Special Collections, as well as databases available to them through the IUP Libraries.
The decade of the 1960s is often called “a decade of revolutions” for the tremendous amount of social and political change brought on by dramatic shifts in public policy and how society was ordered. IUP experienced this change as well.
Utilize the following resources to aid in your research work. The University-related resources span decades, and speak to the wider life of the IUP community, not just the 1960s.
