This guide serves as a supplement to the in-person library instruction session. It provides information that will help you use the library tools to successfully complete your assignment to find a quantitative nursing research article published within the last 10 years.

By the end of the session, you will be able to:

choose appropriate health sciences databases to maximize efficiency when searching
employ advanced search techniques using a variety of search terms and database features to locate resources
recognize features of quantitative research articles to locate an appropriate article in the database
