Finding My New Normal as a College Student.6:00 -7:00 pm Alexis Williams, IUP Alumni and author of My Truth, My Trauma, is a self-care, trauma informed African American Woman therapist practicing out of Philadelphia. In this event, she will discuss her life and writings and cover various topics around the importance of self-care, especially during this global pandemic. Included will be a discussion of the stressors of balancing personal life with school and home; elaborating on the importance of boundaries and communication, along with maintaining personal safety, bringing awareness to the sensitivity of the climate we are in now, and how important it is to respect one another during this time. She will also discuss trauma and families, with time at the end for answering questions. Sponsored by IUP Social Equity and Title IX Office.
