Responsible management of copyrighted materials used in the classroom (whether online or face-to-face) and adherence to intellectual property law is an essential component of instructional design. Classroom materials are available in multiple formats and through multiple mediums, which has increased the complexity of managing copyrighted materials for teaching purposes.
